Tutorial on analytic methods, results, and conjectures

This talk will survey three analytic approaches to constructions
of special lagrangian submanifolds. These are the variational approach, heat (mean curvature) flow approach, and gluing and singular perturbation methods. We will summarize these approaches, their current status, and their potential (and likely limitations) for success.
