Strange Attractors Around Periodically Excited Weakly Stable Periodic

In this talk we present a theory of strange attractors
Lai-Sang Young and myself developed in recent years on certain maps
with one direction of instability. This theory has been applied to a variety of periodically forced differential equations to prove the existence of strange attractors with SRB measures in real physical systems. We will discuss both the theoretic developement and applications.
