Multiscale Simulation Methods

Simulations for large scale or stochastic systems are often best formulated using an algorithm rather than a mathematical equation.
This talk will describe several multiscale methods and open problems for simulations. These will include the "equations free" method of Kevrekidis, spectral clustering methods such as the Peron method, and hybrid methods
involving particle continuum dynamics.
