Bryna Kra elected to AMS Board of Trustees

Congratulations to Bryna Kra, professor of mathematics at Northwestern University and a member of IPAM’s Board of Trustees since 2012, for her election to the Board of Trustees of the American
Mathematical Society (AMS). The Board of Trustees conducts the business affairs of the AMS, including setting fiscal policy. She will serve a five year term starting February 1, 2016. Additionally, Henry Cohn (IPAM Science Advisory Board) and Anna Mazzucato (participant, Mathematics of Turbulence) will be Members at Large of the Council, and Tatiana Toro (IPAM Board of Trustees), will serve on the Editorial Boards Committee.
