Iain Couzin, Leland Wilkinson, Nancy Potok

IPAM is pleased to announce several new board members.  Iain Couzin, Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University, recently joined the Science Advisory Board. Couzin has received many prizes, such as the Mohammed Dahleh Award in 2009, National Geographic Emerging Explorer Award in 2012 and The Zoological Society of London Scientific Medal in 2013.

Leland Wilkinson and Nancy Potok have joined IPAM’s Board of Trustees. Wilkinson is the Vice President of Statistics at Tableau Software and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Chicago.  He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and an elected member of the International Statistical Institute.  Potok is the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the U.S. Census Bureau. She has more than 30 years of public, private, and nonprofit senior management experience. She is an adjunct professor at The George Washington University and an elected Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA).
