Hotel Accommodation and Air Travel
If you are offered financial support and are not a US
Citizen or Resident Alien, you must enter the country on the appropriate
visa to be reimbursed for hotel and travel expenses. Similarly, if you will
be on an H1-B visa at the time of the program, please let us know
immediately since there are restrictions and arrangements must be made in
advance with your visa sponsor. Please contact visa@ipam.ucla.edu for any visa related
questions.
Hotel Accommodation:
Hotel information will be posted soon. Please check this page again.
Airline Travel:
Please note the following guidelines for your travel
reimbursement. Federal regulations require that travelers must book and
ticket their flight through a US carrier. This means that your flight must
either be on a US airline, or if operated by a foreign airline the ticket
must be issued by a US airline partner. Subject to this requirement, you
should endeavor to obtain the best direct route, economy, round trip fare.
If you are unable to find a ticket at an appropriate price,
contact us before booking. Information on our policies and
guidelines for visas, travel, and reimbursements is on our
website. We strongly suggest you
review this information as needed.
If you need assistance with your travel arrangements you can contact the
UCLA Travel Office at (800) 235-UCLA or visit their
website.
