Q: What's the deadline for applications to MAMAOS2003?

Q: The applications asks to list all math and geophysics courses taken. Am I supposed to list all classes from both my undergraduate and graduate careers, or just those I've taken since becoming a grad student?

A: The purpose of this is just to give us an idea of your background. It will be beneficial to have some classes from your undergrad listed. So for instance, a typical response might be:
1) College Calculus (through multivariable analysis)
2) ODEs (with dynamical systems) and PDEs
3) Complex Analysis
4) Upper level (undergraduate) real analysis
5) Numerical Analysis Other classes which are useful to list if you had had them would be linear algebra, and probability. Note that such an extensive background is not necessary, it just help us tune the lectures.
