The workshop will focus on current capabilities and future prospects for quantum communication, motivated by the application of optical communication in a maritime environment, and IPAM is hosting this meeting on behalf of the Office of Naval Research. The workshop will bring together an invited set of leading researchers from academia, industry and government. The schedule will consist of talks and panel discussions, with ample time for individual interactions.
