The opening ceremony and ribbon cutting for IPAM took place on August 5, 2000. The following are some photos that were taken throughout the renovation project.
There was a lot of work to be done. The outside needed very little renovation except for the removal of the Career Center signage and adding the IPAM lettering. Below is the building as it was just before the renovation started.
However, lots of work was done on the interior renovation. This is the soon-to-be lecture room. As you can see a lot of construction was done on it.

Of course the people at IPAM are important. Here are Yenlin Schweitzer, Lynne Duncan, Carl Hunt, and Tufan Ince, who are the Financial Manager, Office Manager, Information Systems Manager, and the Construction Project Manager respectively.
