Special Events and Conferences

We will not offer open registration for this winter school. All participants, even those who are not requesting financial support, will apply and be invited to participate by the organizers. This includes UCLA participants. Those who are requesting financial support, and those who are not, will use the same application form. We urge you to apply early. Applications received by Thursday, December 5, 2024 will receive fullest consideration. Questions and supporting documents should be sent to the email below. Successful applicants will be notified as soon as funding decisions are made.

We have funding especially to support the attendance of recent PhD’s, graduate students, and researchers in the early stages of their career; however, mathematicians and scientists at all levels who are interested in this area are encouraged to apply for funding. Encouraging the careers of women and minority mathematicians and scientists is an important component of IPAM’s mission and we welcome their applications.

Many of our workshop talks will be recorded and made available to the public on the IPAM Videos webpage within 7-10 business days following the conclusion of the event.
