Scientific Content

This workshop will focus on mathematical structures related to conformal field theory. Related areas of mathematics includes representation theory of infinite dimensional algebras, quantum groups, integrable systems, quantization and others. All these fields benefited from ideas originated in quantum field theory and in conformal field theory in particular.

We will bring together leading experts to report on recent developments in the subjects and to survey basic progress in the field during last few years. One of the goals is to outline new possible directions of research and to further stimulate the fruitful interactions between mathematics and physics.
