I will talk about various bounds, inequalities, and asymptotic estimates for the Littlewood-Richardson (LR) coefficients. This includes the solution to Stanley's questions on the shape of partitions attaining the largest LR coefficients. Joint work with Igor Pak and Greta Panova.
