Invariants of tangles with flat connections in the complement

The notion of holonomy $R$-matrices will be introduced.
It will be shown how to construct invariants of
tangles with flat connections in the complement using
such $R$-matrices. Quantized universal enveloping
algebras at roots of 1 provide examples of holonomy
$R$-matrices.
