Abstract

On some unrelated problems about planar arrangements of lines

We start with the following result: Given an arrangement of $n$ lines in general position in the plane, there always exists a simple closed $n$-gon whose $n$ edges lie on the $n$ different lines, respectively.

As time permits we introduce one or two additional results on planar lines arrangements.
