The Geometry of fMRI Statistics: Models, Efficiency, and Design

Although statistical analysis plays an important role in fMRI, an intuitive
understanding of the statistical measures is often lost in a forest of mathematical
derivations. In this talk, I will review the basic statistical measures used in fMRI
from a geometric point of view. I will also examine the design of efficient fMRI experiments and provide a geometric interpretation of the fundamental concepts involved.
