In this talk, we present our computational workflow for the design and the validation of Infinity Two, Type One Energy's fusion pilot power plant. We highlight the distinct application of low and medium fidelity models for numerical optimization, and high fidelity models for performance validation and the analysis of operational scenarios. We also discuss efficient methods for uncertainty quantification involving high fidelity simulations. Finally, we suggest research topics with high impact for the stellarator fusion industry, and opportunities for collaborations.
