Computing Multivalued Physical Observables for the Semiclassical Limit of the Schrodinger Equation and for High Frequency Asymptotic Solutions to Symmetric Hyperbolic Systems (joint with S. Jin, H. Liu and R. Tsai)

We develop a level set method for the computation of multivalued physical observables for asymptotic solutions to the above equations. The technique enables us to compute, for the first time, all physical observables for ltidimensional problems.
