Abstract

Software Architectures in Cyberspace

Mary Shaw

Carnegie-Mellon University

The social and economic success of the Internet arises from the proliferation of applications and services that have been independently created on top of the network proper. These software systems have architectures of their own. This talk will examine typical abstract architectures of internet applications and place them in the context of (software) architectural styles.
