PDE Models for Bose-Einstein Condensation

We discuss two basic models for Bose-Einstein condensates:
1)the Boson Boltzmann equation describing the condensation process,
2)the Gross-Pitaevskii equation modelling the evolution of
Bose-Einstein condensates.
Basic analytical results, numerical schemes, simulation results and open problems are presented.
