The level set method has recently been applied to geometrical optics
for the purpose of wavefront construction. This approach involved
working in phase space on the set of bicharacteristic strips that
represents the wavefronts and required the use of vector valued
level set functions to handle these high codimensional objects.
We introduce here an extension of this technique with relation to
the Schrödinger equation, considering wavefronts and phase calculations
in the semiclassical regime.
