Algebraic Seiberg-Witten Invariants and Family Blowup Formula

In this talk we will survey the construction of
algebraic Seiberg-Witten invariants for algebraic surfaces
and discuss the geometric meaning and the derivation of family
blowup formula. We will then address the extension of this
machinery to higher dimension algebraic manifolds and its application
in enumerative geometry.
