Multiscale Modelling of Electrochemical Systems

Examples of multi-scale modelling and simulation of electrochemical systems (fuel cells, batteries, generalized dialysis systems) are presented. The common feature in the work is that the behaviour of membranes and electrodes is empirically fit to experimental data. Thus, the work gives some motivation and targets for the main theme of the workshop.
