Oliver Tse, an associate professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, co-organized a long program for IPAM and gave a mini-course during the Tutorials Week. The year of planning brought together an audience of forty visiting researchers to attend four week-long workshops. The first Tutorials Week sessions are when scholars learn about similar-but-unfamiliar subjects, and form new research discussion teams based on their shared interests. At the end of the three month program, an exhausted Oliver joked, “This is definitely going on my C.V.!”
