IPAM congratulates Srivatsav Kunnawalkam Elayavalli who was selected as one of the recipients of the 2023 UCLA Chancellor’s Award for Postdoctoral Research.  Srivatsav was honored for his work in von Neumann algebras while a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow at IPAM during the 2022-23 academic year.  His research mentors were Sorin Popa and Dima Shlyakhtenko.  Srivatsav is currently a Stefan E.  Warschawski Assistant Professor at UCSD.
