Andy Lucas Receives 2022 George E. Valley, Jr. Prize

Andy Lucas, Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder, has been named the George E. Valley Jr. Prize recipient for pioneering contributions to developing the theory of hydrodynamic transport in interacting electron fluids. The prize recognizes an early-career individual for an outstanding scientific contribution to physics that is deemed to have significant potential for a dramatic impact on the field.

Andy Lucas has participated as a speaker in IPAM’s 2020 workshop Theory and Computation for 2D Materials.
