Edray Goins, IPAM Board of Trustees member and professor of mathematics and statistics, is the first mathematician from Pomona College to be elected president of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). His president-elect term begins on July 1st, 2026 followed by two years as president beginning July 1st, 2027. He will then serve one year as past-president.
