RIPS Represented at 18th IEEE International Conference

ICMLA 2Team GumGum from RIPS 2019 cohort presented at the 18th IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications (ICMLA) 2019, on December 16-19 at Boca Raton, Florida. Their paper proposal, Fusing Visual and Textual Information to Determine Content Safety, was accepted as a full paper by the IEEE for the Machine Learning in Advanced Machine Vision special session of ICMLA 2019. Only seven out of 21 papers were selected for publication and they were also invited to give a talk at this conference.

Two students received funding support from both IPAM and GumGum to attended the conference: Rodrigo Leonardo and Amber Hu. We congratulate Team GumGum on their accomplishments.
