IPAM is pleased to announce that David Beratan (Duke University) and Thomas Hou (CalTech) were elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) on April 30^th in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Both Beratan and Hou have participated in several IPAM programs as participants, speakers, and/or organizers.
