The Krell Institute Honors Jeff Hittinger With its 2021 James Corones Award

The Krell Institute, a nonprofit organization serving the scientific and educational communities, has awarded Jeff Hittinger, Science Advisory Board member at IPAM and Director of the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, with its 2021 James Corones Award in Leadership, Community Building and Communication. The award, recognizes mid-career scientists and engineers who are making an impact on their chosen fields and for mentoring and encouraging young researchers to be active in the science community and communicate their work.
