Experimental Quantum Error Correction at Quantinuum
Ciaran Ryan-Anderson
Quantinuum
I will present an overview of recent quantum error correction (QEC) experiments at Quantinuum using trapped-ion QCCD processors. These experiments span the spectrum from quantum error detection and partially fault-tolerant techniques to fully fault-tolerant logical operations. I will discuss how real-time QEC, codes choices, and noise characterization methods contribute to the transition from NISQ-era devices toward scalable fault-tolerant quantum computing.
