Limit Theorems in Finite Free Probability

Octavio Arizmendi

In this talk, I will survey recent results on limit theorems in finite free probability. We will review some of the techniques used to prove these results and discuss their implications. In particular, we will explore their connection to the convergence of the empirical measure of the roots of polynomials and their derivatives, as well as a new variational characterization of free convolutions.
