Several model equations will be discussed, with various degree of difficulty. In many cases not much is known about these models, but some results will be mentioned, including a recent blow-up result for the 1d model of the 2d Boussinessq system with K. Choi, T. Hou A. Kiselev, G. Luo and Y. Yao.
