At TomTom we provide drivers with the best possible navigation experience to help them get through traffic faster from A to B. Our navigation applications can already significantly reduce journey times for individual drivers but we believe we can help to reduce traffic congestion for all. In this talk we will give examples where we were able to successfully apply results of mathematical research in our navigation applications. Our applications are based on TomTom's navigation software tool kit - called NavKit - which is built upon 20 years of routing and navigation know-how.
