We discuss new results concerning the non-uniqueness of weak solutions to the Euler equations, whose regularity is measured in a Sobolev with index at the Onsager threshold. Time permitting we shall also address the issue of uniqueness of weak solutions to the surface quasi-geostrophic equation.
