Application of Machine Learning algorithms to In-Space Propulsion

Ninety nine percent of all matter in the universe is in state of plasma. Plasmas are essential parts of fusion energy and space propulsion research. An advanced propulsion concept, a field reversed configurations (FRC) plasma engine, is analysed using machine learning algorithms to help determine the plasma conditions when an FRC can be formed with the optimal conditions of operation. Different classification algorithms are used and evaluated for accuracy.
