Challenges concerning data sets in High dimensions involve efficent digital parametrization of the data geometry, as well as efficient approximation of empirical functions on the set . We will address both issues providing examples of multiscale adapted geometric approximations as well as methodologies for Harmonic analysis on the data including Fourier anlysis on the set as a tool for geometric understanding.
