Geometric objects associated to planar bipartite graphs

Pavel Galashin
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

I will explain how to associate various topological and geometric data to a planar bipartite graph in a disk. Examples of objects include knots, cluster varieties, higher secondary polytopes, and critical varieties. I will also discuss some results on how these objects are related to each other. Based on joint work with T. Lam, A. Postnikov, and L. Williams.
