Let’s talk about noise

Marius Junge

: Error correction is needed because of the noisy nature of quantum computers. I will talk about different noise models usually described by channels. This will include a brief introduction to Lindbladians which can be used for single bit noise models and collaborative noise. Joint work with Y. Chen (collaborative) and Li, Gao, LaRacuente
