Shuffle algebras, lattice paths and Macdonald functions

Alexandr Garbali

In this talk I will discuss a computation of skew Macdonald functions as vertex model partition functions. The approach relies on a connection between Macdonald functions and the Feign—Odesskii shuffle algebra and a new construction of shuffle algebra elements in terms of vertex model partition functions.
