SU(M) Geometries and Topological String Amplitudes

Topological string amplitudes for geometries giving
rise to SU(M) N=2 4D gauge theories via type IIA compactification
are calculated using Chern-Simons theory. Field theory
limit of these amplitudes is compared with some
calculations of Nekrasov.
