Modulation spaces and some of their applications

Kasso Okoudjou

In the first part of this talk I will present the definition and some basic properties of a class of Banach spaces called modulation spaces, which were introduced by H. Feichtinger. In the second part of the talk I will discuss some applications, e.g, Fourier multipliers or more generally pseudodifferential operators, where the modulation spaces appear naturally.
