Amie Wilkinson

The American Mathematical Society recently announced its 2014 Fellows. The list includes three current or former IPAM board members. Amie Wilkinson, professor of mathematics at the University of Chicago, is a member of IPAM’s Science Advisory Board. Rodrigo Bañuelos, professor of mathematics at Purdue, and Christian Borgs, deputy managing director of Microsoft Research New England, are former members of IPAM’s Board of Trustees. The AMS Fellows program recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics.
