Congratulations to the 2013 Sloan Research Fellows! Awarded annually since 1955, the fellowships are given to early-career scientists and scholars whose achievements and potential identify them as rising stars, the next generation of scientific leaders. Fellows receive $50,000 to be used to further their research. Fellows who have participated in IPAM long programs include Anastassia Alexandrova (Chemical Compound Space, 2011), Jacob Fox (Combinatorics, 2009), Ryan Hernandez (Proteomics, 2004), and Arthur Szlam (Search Engines, 2007 and Internet MRA, 2008). The list also includes several IPAM workshop and summer school participants and speakers.
