Karina Edmonds received the University of Rhode Island’s President’s Award at the 2013 Eighth Annual Distinguished Achievement Awards & Gala on October 25, 2013. The award is given to individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in their field and who contribute to the betterment of their industry and community. Dr. Edmonds is the Executive Director for Institute Corporate Relations at the California Institute of Technology and a new member of IPAM’s Board of Trustees. She is a nationally recognized expert in the field of innovation, technology transfer and commercialization.
