Yuval Peres

IPAM is pleased to announce four IPAM affiliates’ election into the National Academy of Sciences for their “distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.” Yuval Peres (Microsoft Research) was a workshop speaker on three occasions, and will speak at one of the workshops in the upcoming Understanding Many-Particle Systems with Machine Learning long program. Roberto Car (Princeton), Steven Evans (UC Berkeley), and Larry Wasserman (Carnegie Mellon) were also recognized; they have given talks at IPAM workshops as well.
