RIPS-Los Angeles students, Hangjian Li and Megan Shearer, won an Outstanding Presentation Award at the Undergraduate Student Poster Session of the 2016 Joint Mathematics Meetings for their poster entitled, “Improving the Accessibility and Graphical Realization of the USC Shoah Foundation Archive.” The project sponsor was the USC Shoah Foundation Institute, and their academic mentor was Krishna Bhogaonker. The Joint Mathematics Meeting took place in Seattle, WA, on January 6-9, 2016 and was attended by many of our RIPS alumni.
