We are thrilled to report that Ryan Tibshirani, Professor of Statistics at University of California, Berkeley, has been awarded the 2023 COPSS Presidents’ Award. The COPSS Presidents’ Award is given annually to a young statistician in recognition of outstanding contributions to the profession of statistics.

Dr. Tibshirani is a member of IPAM’s Science Advisory Board.
