April 22, 2013

Overview

IPAM welcomes five Latino mathematicians at various stages in their careers to UCLA for a panel discussion. The panelists will each tell the story of how they became a mathematician, and will offer advice to students and others starting their careers. We invite Latino undergraduate and graduate students in mathematics, statistics and related fields to join us! Faculty, postdocs, and student services professionals are welcome as well.
