GRIPS-Sendai will be held at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. Our partner at Tohoku University is the Advanced Institute for Materials Research (AIMR). Sendai is located 300 km north of Tokyo and 1.5 hours by high-speed train. Tohuku University is the third oldest Imperial University in Japan and is considered one of the most prestigious universities in Japan.
