Geometrically Based Motions Tutorials

Overview

The long program opens with nine days of tutorials that will provide an introduction to major themes of the entire program and the four workshops. The goal is to build a foundation for the participants of this program who have diverse scientific backgrounds.  The topics covered will include:

  • Level set motion by mean curvature
  • Variational approaches
  • Applications of the level set method to computer graphics, computer vision, image processing, physics, engineering, and materials science
  • Front propagation
